Lots to do!
First, Owner -Peter is great! So Happy we got the availability and great price!!
It was wonderful to have my grandkids and big kids use the water trampoline! Kids kayaks!! 2 canoes and paddle board!! The sauna was amazing, the men loved making the fire for it! The outdoor fire pit and seating was plentiful and nice setting with the outdoor string lighting! The hot tub was loved also! The huge deck and table set was perfect except that no sun table umbrellas are offered, which would be nice for the deck at the lake. Peter did have them, but they got broken. Cottage 2 fridges with top freezers are clean and good size. The cottage does not have laundry facilities, nor a dishwasher. Need to replace some fry pans and cutting boards! Add a couple of big pots. Beds were comfortable but the loft above the double middle “canoe” room only has a king size piece of foam. Bath towels smelt good, but 2-Hand and 2-Dish towels were clean but had a bit of smell (moldy cotton). The children playground in pictures look new, but it is old and trees growing around it. The Bunky bed in loft is a good king mattress. The TV and XBox were great for rainy days and movie nights! Cottage screened in porch is a bonus to sit in and there are plenty of perfect muskoka chairs everywhere!
The only issue is that there are 5 deep stair/steps up to the hallway with the bedrooms and bathrooms and no hand rail! I have bad knees, so I held on to the big tall bookshelf beside the stairs and the wall at top of stairs. Also the big dock has about 5 steps attached to the new beautiful lake deck, with no railing. The beach area with sandy walkout into lake is perfect. The outside shower was wonderful to use!! I will certainly book this again, for my family to have a fun summer vacation with their dogs❣️❣️

A little piece of heaven!
Our stay at Red Cedar Chalet on Brady Lake was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special.
The fishing was spectacular. Our kids had an unforgettable week pulling in huge largemouth bass, and there was never a shortage of excitement out on the water. The lake itself is beautiful—clean, swimmable, surrounded by gorgeous forest, and the perfect size for relaxing, boating, and fishing.
The waterfront setup was one of our favorite features. The water trampoline provided hours of entertainment, and the dock was large enough for our entire group to gather comfortably. We especially appreciated the sandy beach area, which was perfect for the younger children to play safely while the older kids enjoyed the water. Having multiple fire pits around the property was such a unique touch and made for some wonderful evenings together.
The chalet was exceptionally well equipped. There was plenty of bedding, comfortable pillows and blankets, and every amenity we could have needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and made preparing meals for our large group easy and enjoyable.
The kids were also obsessed with the funky bunkie which became their favorite hangout spot thanks to the Nintendo and Xbox options. We made our own spa circuit traveling from hot tub to sauna and jumping into the lake to cool down.
Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for guests. Between the stunning scenery, fantastic fishing, amazing waterfront, and family-friendly amenities, this was one of our favorite cottage vacations ever.
We made so many wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend Red Cedar Chalet to anyone looking for the perfect family getaway in Minden Hills!

Red Cedar Chalet Cottage Trip
What an amazing stay, easy to get to, clean cottage with a large living room and lots of comfortable beds and sitting areas inside and out, equipped witd all sorts of kitchen utensils and appliances, the dock was where we spent most of our weekend on chairs listening to the look and the vibes on the lake. Great place to stay highly recommend. The owner is very responsive and easy to connect with. Annual vacation at Red Cedar Chalet is in the works!!!

Perfect Getaway
Well I've just arrived home from our 3rd annual "Girl's Weekend " at Red Cedar Chalet.
We love this place. Why? The cottage is beautifully maintained on a lovely property... from the picturesque windows, screened in porch, expansive deck, bunkie, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, canoe, kayaks ...we use it all ! Even the black flies couldn't put a damper on our experience.
The owner provides you with everything you need to know to enjoy your stay and remains accessible if you have any questions.
We'll be back !
